Use meditation, gemstones, the Goddess Sakwa Mana and blue energy to bring back a sense of peace, harmony, and self-expression to your life.
Our chakras are constantly moving in and out of balance. This is very normal but when an imbalance lasts for too long, we may experience physical manifestations of illness. To remedy this, we simply need to set the intention of re-connecting with ourselves.
When our Throat chakra is out of balance, we can feel over-ambitious, disloyal, suspicious, apathetic, snobbish, emotionally unstable, disconnected and have a lack of faith. It is easy to restore health to this area by using blue energy.
The Throat chakra is located in the throat (obviously!) and surrounding area. If you think about how the throat is used to help us speak and express ourselves, you will see that this is the chakra of communication. It also governs the connection we have with our spiritual and creative self. When this chakra is working properly, we experience loyalty, fidelity, tactfulness, affection, inventiveness, peace, relaxation, and have a sense of uplift and soothing.
The color we associate with the Throat chakra is blue. Blue energy brings about increased feelings of calmness, peace and open and clear communication. When we live with a balanced Throat chakra, we experience overall good health, creativity and a sense of self-expression.
Too Much Blue? Use Red.
You can have too much blue energy in you. You’ll know this has happened when you feel like you’re talking too much, that what you are saying is nonsense, or that you aren’t able to get your point across.
Gossip comes from an imbalanced blue chakra.
If you have found that you have too much blue, use the color red. Simply drop a red gemstone into your pocket (such as coral, garnet, smoky quartz), wear red clothes, eat red foods (tomatoes, beets, radishes, strawberries, cherries) or use some “red” essential oils in a diffuser (cinnamon, patchouli, black pepper, ginger or sandalwood).
A Goddess we can invoke to help balance our Throat chakra is Sakwa Mana. She is the Native American Goddess who manages communication, cycles, harvest, health, joy, prayer and providence. Her symbols include corn, the pine tree, prayer sticks and spruce boughs.
Sakwa Mana’s energy can help you restore communication, self-expression, healing and peace back into your life. To invoke the powerful and positive characteristics of Sakwa Mana, gather together several blue-energy gemstones such as sapphire, lapis lazuli, tourmaline or blue lace agate. Light a blue candle (to symbolize the blue energy of the Throat chakra) and ask to receive Sakwa Mana’s energy and abundance. Ask her to enter your Throat chakra. When you do this, you may feel a tingling sensation – this is normal and just means you have connected with this chakra. Ask Sakwa Mana to heal your chakra and help restore balance. Sit in this space for a while and when you feel ready, thank Sakwa Mana and bring your conscious mind back to the room you are in. Hopefully you will feel restored, energized and in balance after this simple meditation.
