The body has seven linear chakras that run from the base of the spine to the top of the head. Chakras can be stimulated by subtle energy vibrations present in stones.
Colored stones possess the power to renew, and re-energize the chakras . They provide vibrational healing that realigns the chakra properties. Certain colors are used for each chakra range. Base ChakraFor healing the base chakra the primary stones needed are those of earth colors, such as ruby, obsidian, garnet and red jasper. These stones align the lowest chakra and ease blood disorders, menstrual problems as well as rejuvenating the sex drive. Sacral ChakraThe sacral area resonates to orange and yellow jasper, carnelian and citrine colored stones. These can release energy, aid in kidney trouble, and free hidden inhibitions that may be causing an imbalance in your system. Stomach ChakraStones of agate, light amber and even turquoise, because of the yellow veins that course through this stone, are effective for problems in this chakra area. Using yellow colored stones can help with digestive problems, liver upsets and muscle cramps. Heart ChakraFor the heart chakra invest in stones of green and pink, especially pink. Malachite, rose quartz and adventurine will have a positive effect on controlling anger, easing emotional stress and lifting depression. Throat ChakraThe colors of blue, azurite and lapis lazuli are excellent choices for ear and throat problems. The stones also effect healing in the glands and teeth. Brow ChakraHeadaches, poor concentration and mental instability are all signs of distress in the brow chakra. Using violet colored stones, amethyst, labradorite and fluorite will address these symptoms. Crown ChakraSince the crown chakra emits a glow of white light it draws its vibrational energy from white and clear stones. Diamonds, clear quartz, white zircon are all stones for clearing and healing the crown chakra. They promote communication, a sense of well-being and good self esteem. Using the StonesChoose the appropriate stone for the chakra you are trying to clear. Place it in the palm of your hand and close your eyes in mediation. Concentrate on the stone and the chakra. Lay on your back and place the stone in the area of the chakra. For the crown chakra you will have to leave the stone in your palm. In a few moments you should start to feel a light vibration that tells you the stone is working. This process should be practiced no more than once a day as it takes time for the energy from the stone to reach the targeted chakra. Overall BalanceLay on your back and place the properly colored stones on the seven chakra areas. Meditate on the balancing process and the vibrational energy. Again, practice this for a few moments only once a day. Using stones to balance the chakras is an ancient practice that is very beneficial for overall healing and rejuvenation. Source:
