June’s full moon is often referred to as the Strawberry, Rose or Honey moon. The energies around this moon are ones of love, marriage and success. We are encouraged to acknowledge and celebrate our “garden” – our life, loved ones and accomplishments.
Drop one or several of these in your pocket and create the intention of love and success in your day: agate, alexandrite, amazonite, amethyst, aventurine, beryl, emerald, jade, lapis lazuli, malachite, moonstone, rose quartz, sunstone, tourmaline, turquoise, and zircon.
The Indian Goddess Kamala is just one of many Goddess we can invoke this month. She is a Goddess who manages spirituality, love, passion, pleasure relationships and sexuality. Her symbols include the lotus and yellow objects. When meditating on Kamala and her energies, use these words to help you get a clearer picture and understanding of what she symbolizes: good humor, optimism, confidence, clear-thinking, wide horizons, wisdom, spontaneity, and authenticity.
Oils can be used most easily in a diffuser. Some can be added in small quantities to baths and others can be used in soap and candle making. Do some research before you try them in other ways, aside from diffusers, as some are corrosive and cause skin irritations. The following oils will help you connect with your unconscious mind and set the intention of love, success and positive relationships:
(*Please Note: this is a long list and while these oils do contain energy of love, success and positive relationships, they also contain other energies. It is recommended that you do more research on these oils to fully understand them.)
Basil, black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, clove, coriander, geranium, ginger, jasmine, juniper, lavender, lemon verbena, lime, magnolia, patchouli, rose, rosemary, sandalwood, sweet pea, yarrow, ylang-ylang
Another great way to connect with the Lover’s Moon is to look at your true definition of success and love in your life. Connect with your wise self to explore these concepts. You can create a picture of your ideas (don’t worry if you think you can’t draw – this is for you only!), write a poem, or make a collage using smaller versions of your ideas. For example, if your idea of success includes owning your own vehicle, you could glue a small toy car onto your collage. Or if your idea of love means romantic dinners, cut out ads for fancy and sensual food from grocery store flyers. Creating a physical manifestation of your ideas will help you connect with your true feelings.
