A person that seeks to understand the number 1 in numerology should pay attention to both the negative and positive aspects of the number one's personality.

The symbolism of numerology number 1 is a lone figure standing upright and at attention, ready to brace himself against all manners of attack. Though they are alone, they are confident and brave and ready to deal with all aspects of the harsh unknown world that is around them.

Positive Personality Aspects of Numerology Number 1

In numerology personality, number 1 is a born leader, though they may not embrace that aspect of their personality until much latter in life. A person born as a number 1 typically has a personality where he takes very seriously his responsibility of protecting and guiding those he cares about. There is a strong need for freedom of both thought and action and most number ones refuse to let another person stand in their way of achieving success.

Many number ones are highly creative and very original. When it comes to numerology personality analysis, the number 1 will seek out the spotlight most of the time. Additionally, almost all number ones will seek to obtain power and control in both their personal and professional lives. Courage and willpower are seen in abundance as is the ability to perform well solo, without supervision. These individuals are usually incredibly strong in mind, body, and spirit.

The number 1 is learning that correct action is best achieved through constant and consistent perseverance. The number 1 is also discovering that with correct action there will almost always be rewards.

Finally, it is important to understand that in numerology the number 1 represents beginnings of all types. It is from the number one that all other numbers eventually develop. The number 1 is associated with the creative intelligence of the universe and is best represented in the tarot cards by the major card the Magician.

Negative Personality Aspects of Numerology Number 1

When it comes to numerology personality, the negative aspect of numerology number 1 that is most frustrating is its selfishness. The majority of number ones become so self-involved that they actually forget about others. Those people that help and assist the number one with their goals or the people that are under the control and power of the number 1 are the people that are most apt to see this selfishness.

Besides selfishness, other negative aspects that the number one would be wise to work on include the nasty habits of anger and aggression. Many number ones actually act before thinking and, in the heat of the movement, that action can be totally irrational.

The personality trait that the number one is learning the most is to be a team player; something that many leaders find is a hard lesson. It’s important that the number 1 realizes that a leader is only a leader if they have a group of people willing to follow their lead. Thus, of the entire team, the leader is the person that must be the best team player of all.

Finally, there is often a strong aura of stubbornness and defiance that can be found within the personality of certain people born under the number one. Learning to be flexible and to not fight everyone on everything is important for this number.
