Walter Makichen writes in his book, Spirit Babies, “I believe that the decision to have a child should be consciously embraced. Sometimes it can be difficult to know our own true feelings and to get clear on such an important decision.”

What Is Pre-Birth Communication?

Communication with the spirit of a baby can happen well before conception and birth according to the author. Makichen notes that he has been working with couples for over 20 years to help them find answers to questions such as “Am I meant to become a parent?” “Why can’t I conceive?” or “What is my unborn child trying to tell me?”

Chakras

Makichen emphasizes the importance of the Ayurvedic Chakra energy system throughout his book. In Ayurveda medicine there are seven primary chakras found in the body with an eighth chakra representing the person’s aura. They are located as follows:

first chakra: at the pelvic floor
second chakra: lies just above the pubic bone
third chakra: approximately an inch below the navel (or bellybutton)
fourth chakra: at the diaphragm level
fifth chakra: at the throat
sixth chakra: between the eyebrows
seventh chakra: at the top of the head
eighth chakra or aura: surrounding the body nine feet in all directions

Spiritual Guide

Makichen writes from the standpoint of spiritual guide in Spirit Babies. He uses the stories of other successful parents to gently educate and carefully draw the reader into a place of healing and wonder. The author believes in reincarnation and karma, thus feeling that each spirit baby is seeking out its next parents that will help it to grow and learn to fulfill its karma for that lifetime.
