Who is Abraham?
Abraham is the name of a self-described "group consciousness from the non-physical dimension" that is channeled through an attractive and rather unassuming woman named Esther Hicks. Seeking the cosmos through various methodologies and persuasions, Esther was initially not someone who believed or cared much for the idea of channeling. It was not until she took up the practice of meditation in her later years that the energy of Abraham appeared and made itself known to her.
The Basic Teachings of Abraham
After acclimating yourself to the teachings of Abraham, it's easy to discern how they inspired 'The Secret'. Initially, Jerry and Esther Hicks were interviewed at great length and included in the first release of the DVD.
